Trustee Board Meetings

Meetings held on the 1st Monday of each month.

Member Programs
Programs are held quarterly throughout the year featuring guest speakers, historical re-enactors, socials, and special exhibits. Members of the public are invited to attend at a nominable fee.

Children Programs
Programs are held in the spring and fall focusing children in grades k-3 grades. These educational events combine the history of Aurora with interactive activities.

Special Events

July 4th – Aurora Historical Society’s booth at the City’s 4th of July Celebration at Kiwanis Moore Park from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm will include our merchandise. The Deed House at Pioneer Park is open from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm.

Member Picnic – The Society’s September annual picnic is held at the Moebius Nature Center

Annual Meeting – Held in November, the meeting provides the membership the opportunity to support an Aurora venue, enjoy a fine dinner and conduct its annual business.

Christmas at the Deed House – As part of the City tree lighting the community is served hot chocolate and cookies.

Special Exhibits

Periodically the Society host exhibits showcasing items from its vast holdings, items on loan, and travelling exhibits.
